Volunteer at Sprockets
Every year, the Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children presents the best in Canadian and international film for children and youth. Engaging and educational, Sprockets is also entertaining for audiences of all ages. As the only festival of its kind in Toronto, Sprockets has quickly become an important part of Toronto’s film community thanks to the generous support of over 150 volunteers annually, whose efforts help us create a welcoming environment for Sprockets audiences.
We provide a positive, respectful and friendly atmosphere for volunteers who love film and want to get involved with a not-for-profit charitable organization that specializes in the celebration of children’s cinema from around the world.
What do Sprockets Volunteers Do?
Volunteers at Sprockets can often be seen on the front lines of the festival, directing families or school groups, tearing tickets, distributing marketing materials, providing on-site technical assistance or greeting incoming guests to Toronto when they arrive at the Airport.
Applying to volunteer for Sprockets
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children. The Volunteer Office at TIFF is very fortunate to have a strong team of returning Sprockets volunteers each year. Given this, our ability to add new volunteers will always be dependent upon the number of returning Sprockets volunteers. At this time, we are unable to accept applications from new volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with Sprockets or any other TIFF events, please subscribe to the TIFF Volunteer Newsletter. If our requirements change and we are able to invite applications from new volunteers, we’ll post this information on the newsletter first.
