TIFF Bell Lightbox's five state-of-the-art cinemas will allow us to expand our programming to meet the demands of enthusiastic Toronto audiences. We will now be able to screen more films more often, including exclusive engagements of classic films.

We will also have an exciting new feature: exclusive engagements of first-run art house films from great Canadian and international filmmakers

Programming

There will be no change to the quality of our internationally recognized programming nor the TIFF Cinematheque programming team. It will continue to be led by Senior Programmer James Quandt and by Programmer Andréa Picard.

We're now able to supplement the viewing experience with exhibitions in two galleries

Membership

TIFF Cinematheque’s membership programme has transitioned to the TIFF Castmember membership programme. This programme offers TIFF Cinematheque benefits plus new opportunities and additional benefits.

In recognition of their long-time support, TIFF Cinematheque members will be issued new TIFF member cards with a special TIFF Cinematheque decal to distinguish them to Box Office and Front of House staff as members committed to TIFF Cinematheque’s mission.
